There's No Such Thing as the End of the Year

I know, I know... you look on the calendar and you can clearly see that 2009 ends on December 31. So what do I mean when I say there's no such thing as the end of the year?

Well, for you ME Representatives and marketers out there, there's no point in time where you stop and say, "Okay, all done." Because even if you focus on event marketing, (such as Christmas), there's always an upcoming event to aim for. And if you're a full-time, day-in and day-out business, you're already looking long past this holiday season, and your plans for the 1st quarter are firmly in place.

Sure, you can take a breath, and relax and enjoy the holidays. You should, you've earned it! But don't allow your marketing plans to come to a complete stop, or you might lose the momentum you built up during this past season.

In my mind, there's no end... just a series of beginnings. Opportunity after opportunity, one after the other. Some are almost here (like valentine's day), some are on the horizon, (Easter, Mothers Day), some at this point are just a date on next year's calendar - but their beginning will roll along soon, too.

So everyone have a joyous holiday and a Happy New Year, and take some time to enjoy family; friends, and a few days of rest and relaxation. We'll be shut down here for a few days (see bellow for specific hours and dates) so all our ME Team can do the same.

But it's not the end of anything. It's just another beginning!

Yo se, Yo se... que tu miras el calendario y puedes ver claramente que el 2009 termina en Diciembre 31. Entonces, que quiero decir, cuando digo que no hay tal cosa, como el final del año?

Bueno, para aquellos mercaderes alrededor y los Representantes de ME, no hay un tiempo preciso donde te detienes y dices, "Okay, ya termine." Porque aunque te enfoques en el evento del mercado, (como Navidad), siempre hay un evento que planear que viene de camino. Y si tu eres un Negociante a Tiempo-completo, dia-adentro y dia-afuera, ya tu entiendes que las Fiestas de Navidad ya pasaron y has realizado el plan del primer cuarteto del año.

Seguro, tu puedes tener un receso, y relajarte y disfrutar de las Fiestas de Navidad. Tu deberias, te lo mereces! Pero no permitas que tu plan de mercadeo se detenga completamente, o perderas el Momento por el cual ya trabajaste en estas fiestas.

En mi mente, no existe un final...solo una serie de principios. Oportunidades y Oportunidades, una detras de la otra. Algunas ya estan casi aqui (como el dia de la Amistad), y otras todavia estan en el horizonte, (Semana Santa, Dia de las Madres) algunas en este momento solo son fechas en el calendario del año siguiente, pero estan muy cerca de comenzar.

Asi que todos tengan unas gozosas fiestas y un Feliz Año Nuevo y separe tiempo para disfrutar con su familia, Amigos y dias de relajamiento y descanso. Estaremos cerrados por algunos dias (revise al final de la pagina para los dias y horas) asi que todo el equipo de ME puede hacer lo mismo.

Pero esto no es simplemente el final. Es definitivamente otro buen comienzo!
